From the moment Jack first kicked a ball at age 7, football has been at the heart of his life. Signing with Portsmouth FC at a 8 years of age, he rose through the club’s academy system and turned full-time professional by 16, representing Portsmouth until 18 while Portsmouth were in the premier league. After being released by the club he had many offers but chose to go to USA California. 

 

Seeking to combine elite-level football with higher education, Jack earned a 5-year scholarship in California, competing for one of the top five collegiate teams in the United States. During this time, he collected multiple individual awards and played a key role in the program’s national success.

 

Following his collegiate career, Jack went on to play professionally in Germany and Australia, gaining invaluable international experience and a deep understanding of the global game.

 

At age 26, a career-ending injury brought his playing journey to a close — but not his passion for the sport. Today, Jack channels that same dedication, discipline, and love for football into new ventures within and beyond the game.

Jack began coaching at 16 years old while at Portsmouth FC, earning an FA Level 2 qualification and quickly developing a passion for player development. Since then, he has coached across Mexico, Southern California, Australia, and the UK, gaining international experience and a strong reputation for elite training.

In the USA, Jack coached with Pateadores, one of the nation’s top youth soccer clubs, leading a national championship-winning team, and later at Division 1 Tesoro High School, a nationally ranked program.

As founder of JP Coaching, Jack has worked 1:1 with Premier League players such as Callum Wilson, Matt Ritchie, Ryan Fraser of Newcastle United, and Joel Ward of Crystal Palace, while also developing young talent from leading academies including Southampton, Brighton, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Fulham, and Portsmouth.

Jack’s innovative Elite Groups programme has helped numerous players earn contracts and academy placements, continuing Jack’s mission to inspire, mentor, and elevate the next generation of football talent.
